It is a way of life; it is a very refreshing experience for the avid anglers to be amongst nature, to be fishing in the serene and beautiful spots all over. Here are some fishing tips keeping in mind the beginners who are eager to make the most of their experience and learning something new and challenging.

It is true for every fish nonetheless let us keep in mind that it is very important to do a good research and locate the water bodies like a river, lake or a pond where carp are in abundance. The more information one has, the better it is. So the first tip is to search for a good carp fishing spot. While has to be very cautious about what bait to use for carp; they are easily tempted by bait but if the bait is not of their choice, then you are going to have a hard time fishing for them. It is a good idea to choose corn, dough balls, cheese, worms; bread pieces or homemade carp bait which will do the trick.

Pre baiting is a great way to certain that the carp in the water are going to like the bait you present. Say if you are using bread pieces; throw a few pieces on the water surface a few days before you go back to the same spot. This makes things way easier. For best results with carp using hair rig is recommended, it prevents the fish from spitting the bait after having swallowed it. Carps are big, so the fishing tackles you choose accordingly. You will need a rigid rod that can handle a minimum weight of 50 pounds.

Carps feed near the surface of the water, so it is very important for the bait to look as natural as possible. Ideally you should use baits in different sizes. Throw a few pieces of bait on the surface of the water to attract the fish. When they start to feed on the bait, which is your signal to cast your hook. Casting the hook in the same spot where the fish are feeding could spook the fish away; instead what you can do is cast a little further away from there and gradually bring it in place.

Attaching a float to the fishing line will let you know the exact spot where you have immersed the line. Wearing gloves is recommended before removing the hook.It becomes pretty difficult to handle a big carp, keep a dark colored cloth handy to cover its eyes. If you are just fishing carp for fun and have no intention of taking it back home, practice catch and release method. Carefully and gently release the fish back in the water.
